!! SOLUTION !! Error Creating X10 Light Map Texture !! SOLUTION !!

This problem was bad. Until now.

Users who had this problem in the past had to remake their levels entirely, which meant their hard work had all gone to waste. Luckily after a quick chat via email with Lee, there is now a solution and an explenation to why this error occured.

The explenation:

The issue is due to the difference between NVIDIA and ATI drivers, and can sometimes strike on some cards. The error relates to the application failing to create the required texture son the card to complete the texture making process.

The Solution (Remember to backup any files you edit):

1. Go to Documents/FPS Creator X10 Files
2. Open SETUP.INI in notepad.
3. Change lightmaptexsize=512 to lightmaptexsize=256

Now test your level! It should load fine with no problems. If you have any more questions contact me or Lee.

EDIT: If you are making another level and you you get the same problem and the lightmaptexsize is 256, change it back to 512.

The error you have is saying that the program has never seen that before and doesn't have an easy to understand error message built in sounds bad lee is only guy that can help with that sorry.
