Should I continue trying to make terrain?
Re: Progress on a Terrain Model
Thanks i'll have the model done as soon as I get the right rand to make it tileable.
If I can get this to work perfectly and make it easily tilable what price would you pay for the terrains? Of course half of the money would need to be sent to Darth Dementous for his grass texture that helped me finish this.

Not much seems to be going on so have un-stickied this might be made a sticky again if it gets more popular. The system might make it an automatic popular post giving it that blue circle if it thinks it is good enough and enough users view it.
Re: Progress on a Terrain Model
Well my progress worked now that I have the texture. So far i've only tested it in milkshape so now im going to fpsc and I might even be able to make a couple of diffrent sizes for peoples needs.

Re: Progress on a Terrain Model
I would advise against making it an entity, make it a segment instead. The reason is that the pathfinding for characters and enemies gets messed up; they don't know how to use entities very well. At least that's what I've heard...

Re: Progress on a Terrain Model
I wouldn't worry the only way it can tile 100% perfectly is with your coordination not with the segments so it has to be but it will work I will test shooting it and everything even walking onto stairs etc. Walking into doors, it will be 100% working. I'll even upload a video of it once it's complete that's why its taking so long.

Ok. Just make sure characters and enemies can get around fine...

I will so far the second layer underneath it has held everyone on it and let them walk around but i've only tested it in multiplayer.
