FPSC X10 Specs Empty FPSC X10 Specs

Hey Guys,

This is a copy of the thread i made at official boards.

This is the official list of specs needed for FPS Creator X10 it will be added into all future readmes. So a bit about this thread.Looking at the forums, i have seen 9 "Can i run it" threads on the first page alone so im here to tell you all once and for all what you need to be able to run FPSC X10 to sort out all the repeated and frankly irritating questions. There is also a full list of all the graphics cards that will work with FPSC X10 i have put a lot of time and effort into this thread finding out for you all. I am human so if you find i missed something let me know and don't have a big go at me.

So here you go then...


Min Specs- Will run but very slow with all enabled Aprox Framerate: 20-40 (can run at 40-60 with screen res change)
Graphics Card: GeForce 8400 GS 215MB, ATI Radeon 2900 XT - Catalyst 7.8 & 7.9
Memory: 1GB
Hard Drive: 2GB
CPU: 2.0GHz Dual Core

Mid Specs- Will run might lag a little with all enabled Aprox Framerate: 50-70
Graphics Cards: GeForce 8600 GTX 320MB, ATI Radeon HD 3600 Series
Memory: 1.5GB
Hard Drive: 3GB to allow for addons/updates
CPU: 2.60GHz Dual Core

High Specs- Will run with no lag Aprox Framerate: 70-100
Graphics Cards: GeForce 8800 GTX 1GB, ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series - 100% Compatible
Memory: 2GB
Hard Drive: 4GB+ to allow for addons/updates/models
CPU: 3.0GHz Dual Core

Extreme Gamer Specs- No lag at all on my rig i got an Aprox Framerate of: 120 (large level with more enemies)
Graphics Cards: GeForce 9600 GT 1GB SLI or higher,ATI CARDS NOT RECOMMENDED
Memory: 4GB SLI
Hard Drive: 4GB+ to allow for addons/updates/models
CPU: 3.0GHz Quad Core
Other: MOTHERBOARD SLI READY


Approx Framerate based on all features enabled and 1 character with gun. Unless stated otherwise.

Reported Cards:

Nvidia 9500 320MB Reported as being very slow with all features enabled.
Nvidia 8400GT 512MB Reported as not compatible by a few people will check up on this for the moment i dont recommend you buy.
ATI Radeon HD 2600 Series (and lower) are not compatible they crash the test game.
ATI Radeon HD 2900 Series has known issues with the test game not recommended at all

NOTES

- All Nvidia Graphics Card Will need ForceWare 163 at least for the above to be correct for the card.
- YOU MUST HAVE DIRECTX 10 INSTALLED, DIRECTX 9 WONT WORK.
- VISTA IS WHAT YOU NEED DIRECTX 10 DOES NOT WORK IN XP FULLSTOP.
- This thread will be updated as new info is given to me or if i feel i have left something out.
- Everything on this thread has either been tested by a team of people i know, myself or i have found the info aroudn the forums.


Any Questions on if your specs will work post here and i will answer it here don't post all over the other boards its a waste of space and your thread will just get locked anyway.

I would highly suggest getting an Nvidia 9800GT. Very affordable, and runs FPSC X10 very well.

ROFL I use an ATI Radeon 2600 HD AGP card and I get 15-35 FPS on indoor maps (window refractivity lags me). Plus my processor isn't even dual core. But I do have 3.5 GB RAM...DDR1, though D:
So overall, anyone with ANY DX10 card CAN run this program, but your framerate may or may not be playable. I consider mine to be playable.

Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit, 8gb Ram, Intel Core 2 Quad, 9.6GhZ processor, dual Nvidia Gefore 9800gtx.
I can confirm that it runs just FINE on that Very Happy
