Shaky Screen

Post  Slayer_2 on Thu Nov 13, 2008 2:55 pm

My screen bobs whenever I walk. But this doesn't seem to be a feature and "bobs" is the wrong word. It vibrates when I walk, only slightly, but still, it gets sickening and is annoying at best. Also, everything looks wwwaaaayyyy too wide in X10. I have FPSC X9 and don't have any stretching problems, but X10 has some really whacky stetching issues. Any advice on either issues?

What is your video card. Also, could you post your system's specs?

Oh good idea. My PC can handle anything on highest easily, but if you need specifics:

8800GT 512MB (the card reccomended for X10 I believe)
An Intel 3.0Ghz Dual Core (above X10 recomendations, I think)
A Gigabyte S-series motherboard with Dual and Quad core support
250GB hard-drive 7200RPM with about 80GB free.
2GB of OZC gamer RAM 2 x 1GB
450W Power supply
A disc drive that supports CD and DVD writing/re-writing

there, that should tell you everything you need to know.

Not the most useful of posts lol not to boast but mines better lol [/stop boasting]

But i suggest you update all your drivers and then if that doesn't fix it try reinstalling the latest update only after that should you try a FPSC reinstall that might just fix it.

Hah! Believe me its good, but the novelty wears off quick. I'm just glad I only spent 500 bucks on it or I'd feel a bit like selling it, hahaha. The only reason I got it was cause my old 7800 GT was giving me tons of artifacts so I had to upgrade, then as I was upgrading that I said, meh, might as well upgrade the whole freaking PC. Back on topic (I wasn't bragging, just stating the truth Rolling Eyes )

I have the latest 8800 GT Drivers, just checked.

And V1.08 is the latest update correct?

Man, I was hoping I'd leave major glitches and bad performance in the dust with X10. At least bad performace isn't showing up as much anymore, but with my new upgrade, who can say why?

Back off topic, Nickydude, do you have one of those super PC's that has the quad core, 9800 1GB, 4-8GB of RAM and all that jazz? If so, tell me how it is, my PC is fine right now, but I've heard the quad core has some support issues.
